I changed my career after travelling Asia & Australia back in 2008 and I passed my coach bus drivers licence and started as a driver guide working for the most popular tour operator in Scotland. I learned so much and many management skills along the way improving timetables & driving routes, correcting accommodation bookings and helping with the needs of others on the road. Researching local knowledge and history. Finding the best locations and vistas sightseeing, finest Scotch whisky & the nicer places to stay and where to eat good food.
This was a great new beginning for me and after learning so much it was time to break away and start up my own business. For the last few years, I have become a owner & operator based in Glasgow delivering private tours as a responsible tour guide for my clients. I specialize, in private only tours for small groups & couples. I love my work and I enjoy meeting & guiding all international visitors to Scotland. Taking tourists to the Highlands and to World famous Scotch whisky distilleries as well as historic castles.
One day and extended tours are available from Glasgow & Edinburgh and port Greenock for cruise-ship passenger shore excursions. On tour, I drive a luxury Land Rover Discovery vehicle for your comfort and style. Suitable for small groups, one person up to five people. However, I can also provide services for groups up to 16 at extra expense. I also provide free in car WiFi and a child seat. I believe in 'quality not quantity' tourism. So, my tours are more fun than a bus. My tours are flexible to suit you, to custom a special tour. I am fully insured together with public liability for your peace of mind. In my own time, I love going fishing especially for Salmon and my favourite football team is Glasgow Celtic.
A Recent Review of this guide
Our group spent the day with Frank J on July 18, 2019 in Glasgow during a cruise of the British Isles. I spent several months prior to the cruise chatting with Frank as I was planning to find family locations while in Glasgow. Frank customized our time to make that happen. The afternoon was spent seeing the beautiful countryside, time in Falkirk, while traveling to Stirling Castle. Frank was personable, funny and we enjoyed our day tremendously. Thank you Frank for the memories!
