I live & work in Glasgow. Being born here, I have a strong Scottish accent which is understandable especially for tourists. I want to share my passion & knowledge and give you a unique and memorable tour. I have ten years of experience, working in travel & tourism. Driving coach vehicles and being the tour guide responsible for 33 tourists. This was valuable work experience. I learned so many management skills along the way improving timetables & driving routes, correcting accommodation bookings and helping with the needs of others on the road. Further research on the local knowledge in each place. Fact finding history from local people, more about whisky & where it is nicer to stay and eat.
In 2016, I decided to become my own private tour guide & personal driver, specializing for small exclusive groups. I am new this year 2018 to ToursByLocals, which has been really good to me and so I am really looking forward to more next year! I love guiding travellers and want to help you explore more, all across this ancient land. For your comfort and enjoyment as well, I have a top of the range Land Rover Discovery car. The most suitable and stylish vehicle for the wee highland country roads.
And finally, I would just like to add that my tours are flexible too suit you, after all it is your holiday. So you can make changes on the day within reason to our timetable. You can also request for a custom made tour program I can prepare. So when you do come to Glasgow, let me help you and I will show you around. In my own time when I am not at work, I love being outdoors and to go exploring and my passion is fishing for Salmon. I also enjoy a dram of the finest Scotch single malt whisky, tasty seafood and fine chocolate. Slainte Mhor.

Frank led us on a fantastic journey across Scotland to St. Andrews. He was extremely personable and had a great level of knowledge about the cities and towns that we traveled through on our way. Once we got to St. Andrews, he was very willing to snap pictures on the Old Course, and then lead us on a historical journey to the cathedral and castle. Additionally, he was great with our two kids (12 and 10 yrs old), no issues relating to them or opening up Scottish history to them either!
