Enjoy a half-day tour of the countryside and explore the beautiful Giverny. You'll have the chance to explore the former property of the famous impressionist Claude Monet. Visit his house and gardens where he devoted his time to design and paint until his final years. Most of his renowned 250 paintings in his Water Lilies series is inspired by his garden he carefully landscaped.
I'll pick you up at your hotel at 9 AM in Paris. On our way to Giverny, I'll give you an overview and introduction to the history of Claude Monet's renowned house and gardens.
1. We'll explore the former house of Claude Monet where he lived for 43 years until his demise. You'll be fascinated with the colors and decorations of the house that is carefully selected by him.
2. Proceed his flower garden (Clos Normand) where you'll experience a variety of common and rare flowers of different textures and colors. This serves as an inspiration in his Water Lilies series' painting.
3. Treat yourself to the Water Garden which is Claude Monet's inspiration on his painting of Japanese gardens. Plenty of water lilies blooms in the pond You'll be able to walk and explore the famous Japanese bridge.
Once we're done, we'll head back to your hotel at around 2 PM.
