The olden days transportation of Georgetown, Penang
This is the latest version of trishaw, an almost extict means of transport of Penang. It is known as " rot sam lor" in Thai language meaning " three wheel vehicle" . This transport has been in existance more than 50 years. Previously under the British rule, the rickshaw was the only transport pulled by man, which later replace by horse carraige.
This particular trishaw also earned the nick name as " King Of The Road" in which you will need to go on the trishaw to experience what it really means.

My family spent a lovely day in Penang with Gim Seng. He is very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and professional, and has a great sense of humor. From our right-on-time meeting where he was waiting for us at the cruise ship pier until our drop-off in the afternoon, we felt that we were fortunate to have met a capable and experienced guide.
