Having travelled and lived in different places enriched my personality and made me curious about people. I enjoy very much interacting with them and that's why I still continue working as a guide even if I am already retired. I have been guiding individual tourists and groups in and around Geneva and Switzerland on and off for over 30 years. I am passionate about this place and its fascinating past and present.
Since I am a local, I am well informed about the current issues and challenges of this region. I will not count the time I spend with you. My main concern is that you enjoy your stay here and hopefully come back again.
A Recent Review of this guide
Of the four wonderful days I spent with Maria, this rates the highest. I didn't want the standard cheese and chocolate factory tours but wanted to see the lakefront región and the towns in between Geneva and Montreux. Maria put this day together based on my stated preferences ... starting from Geneva, we toured Lausanne, saw the terraces of Lavaux (postcard beautiful), toured and lunched in Gruyeres and ended with a stunning walk at sunset along the Montreux lakefront promenade. A perfect day.
