Having travelled and lived in different places enriched my personality and made me curious about people. I enjoy very much interacting with them and that's why I still continue working as a guide even if I am already retired. I have been guiding individual tourists and groups in and around Geneva and Switzerland on and off for over 30 years. I am passionate about this place and its fascinating past and present. Being host to the European headquarters of the UN and home to a multitude of different governmental and private organisations, Geneva creates a constant flurry of diplomatic activity and it is here where the history of the world is being written.
Since I am a local, I am well informed about the current issues and challenges of this region. I will not count the time I spend with you. My main concern is that you enjoy your stay here and hopefully come back again.

Maria was extremely knowledgeable. She spoke very good a English, stopped for our questions, was say to hear. Very very interesting and informative day in Geneva and Lausanne. Had a fun day too.
