Strolling Gion is absolutely essential
This tour is composed of 2 sections, a day tour of Kyoto and an evening tour of Gion.
This tour is timing-sensitive, in order to make this tour work, we will have early around 4:50-5:20. The tour starts at 12:30 pm at Kyoto Station or your accommodation. As for the PM tour part, you can choose any destination as long as it fits the time frame. The number of the destinations would be 2 or 3, depending on the proximity.
Note:. This tour is not available on Sundays.
The standard group size is up to 4 people.
Please contact me for a larger group.
For the afternoon tour part in Kyoto, you could choose two or three places to include. To make it feasible, I will give you advice accordingly.
The evening tour starts by strolling along the lovely Shirakawa canal. You'll be surprised how quickly you can move away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. We'll take you to Geisha districts where you might be able to catch a glimpse of Geisha walking along the street. As the light fades and night falls, we'll transition to the Yasaka/Higashiyama area. Here, we'll enjoy walking along lane ways in the historically preserved district, seeing a 5-story pagoda with its stunningly intricate structure before arriving at Yasaka Shrine, a major Shinto Shrine in Kyoto. After briefly taking a look at a quirky shrine where a deity of beauty is enshrined we'll head over to a local restaurant to have a light meal and conclude the tour
