Come discover the favourite summer destination for our past royal family!
We will start our tour going to Queluz, a wonderful 18th century royal palace, first used by our kings as a summer residence and that became their home for 13 years before the royal family's flee to Brazil. We will explore its gardens before heading to Sintra, a paradise for our kings along the centuries due to its cooler climate and exuberant vegetation.
In Sintra you will be given some free time to explore this historical town on your own and to have lunch and/or shop.
We will then drive by the beach of Guincho, and reach Cascais, a summer place resort developed during the late 19th and beginning of the 20th century, still showing its links to its past as a fisherman's' village. Here we will have a photo stop and a short walk before making our way back to Lisbon.
