Welcome to beautiful Montevideo with its white and spectacular sand beaches and seaside and its famous "Rambla", an extended avenue parallel to the coast.
Travelling in a comfortable licensed van with chauffer, this tour introduces you to selected highlights visiting the historic Spanish Colonial sites with its 1804 year old Cathedral and Town Hall, pedestrian Sarandí St. , Independence Square, Salvo Palace, Executive Tower and 18 de Julio main downtown avenue.
We head to the Pocitos and Punta Carretas neighborhoods, the modern World Trade Center financial district, visiting the upscale Punta Gorda neighborhood with its Virgilio Square and amazing view.
We make a 2 hour stop for lunch or shopping.
Landmarks as the amazing Parliament, a classical building with exclusive Uruguayan granite and marble, the Telecommunication magnificent glass Tower, a Dubai style building.

If you are cruisers, after leaving the cruise, walk along a green path about 200 yards to the Port exit blue iron bar door. It's behind some trees next to the Tourism Ministry. I'll be next to this exit holding a sign with your name. If you don't find me, please give me a personal call.

Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: I meet you at the Cruise Ship Terminal if you are cruisers, at your hotel lobby, at the Carrasco International Airport, at the Ferry Terminal or where you indicate at the time of your scheduled arrival.
At the Cruise Ship Terminal: YACARE EXIT BLUE IRON BAR DOOR (OUTSIDE THE PORT). The Door is behind the trees, next to the Tourism Ministry Building. Once you get off the cruise, you have to walk along a path painted green with footsteps on the floor. There are touristic guards who nay show you the way.

End location: We end our tour at the same place where I met you

The itinerary is flexible according to your interests, it could not be completed due to weather, traffic or time conditions.
Tour duration on weekends or out of season as there is less traffic, we may finish our tour in a shorter time.
Regarding the number of passengers, it might be a modern car, a Hyundai H1 or a Mercedes Sprinter or similar Van.
