Explore the Verdon River Canyon with your private guide + Stop at L'Occitane factory
On the way to the Canyon we will stop at the factory "L'OCCITANE" to visit their museum/factory (free entrance).
Originally from Provence, L'Occitane is today famous worldwide for the quality of its body lotions made from natural oils. A free guided tour allows you to enjoy a fragrant experience as you discover the different steps involved in the production of their products.
After driving through the Valensole plateau (lavender in bloom in june and july) we will stop for lunch in the medieval town of Moustiers Sainte Marie, the capital of hand-painted earthenware.
Then, we will reach the canyon by the early afternoon to enjoy this breathtaking scenery. Here, the limestone cliffs overlook the Verdon River over 2000 feet high and leave a feeling of pure beauty to visitors.
Drive to Provence countryside.
Stop and visit L'OCCITANE Museum/Shop.
Drive through Valensole Plateau (visit lavenders field from mid june to the end of July.
Stop and Visit Moustiers Sainte Marie (Capital of Glazing Earthenware).
Drive and visit the Grand Canyon of the Verdon river.
