A private tour to taste, smell and feel the tradition of Emilia Romagna
Departure from Parma not later than 8. 30 am. Transfer to a cheese factory where I'll explain you all the phases of the making of the King of Cheeses, as well as its salting and ageing. At the end light tasting of Parmigiano-Reggiano.
At the end transfer to the hills of Parma and visit to a ham factory where I'll tell you everything about the Prosciutto di Parma, its origin, its making and its ageing.
The producers I go to are all small to middle size and the facilities are family owned/run.
Light tasting and return to Parma.
We start our tour together to visit the cheese factory and Ham factory at the agreed upon starting time. The visits depend on the producers availability. The basic plan will be to start in Parma, then travel to Langhirano. Once our visit is over in Langhirano, we return to Parma. I look forward to planning your private tour!

We did a custom tour with Giulia to the cheese factory, Balsamic vinegar farm, lunch at a winery and ham factory afterwards. Overall a great experience. Giulia was very informative and knowledgeable. Her English is perfect. We had our own cars so we just followed her to the places we were visiting. While there she gave us explanations of the processes involved. Even during lunch she explained all the dishes and translated everything for us. Highly recommend her.
