See the City Highlights, taste and drink Bath specialities
See all the main attractions with tasting stops on the way, a break for a delicious cream tea and finally a drink in one of our historic pubs. You will learn about the history of this amazingly well preserved Georgian Spa town where Jane Austen once lived. The focus is on the lives of the people of Bath both past and present and of course on food.
You will see the highlights of the World Heritage City of Bath and learn about Bath's history and its fascinating people. You will learn the difference between a Sally Lunn bun, which Charles Dickens ate, and a Bath Bun, visit a cheese shop which has had a Royal Warrant since 1797, taste the Bath Oliver, the first slimming biscuit, invented in Bath in the 1700s. We will enjoy a cream tea with scones, clotted cream, jam and your choice of tea as well as Indian street food. The tour ends with half a pint of local beer or cider in one of our historic pubs.
