Exploring the Galleria Palatina, former Medici residence and stunning museum
We will explore the most representative part of the Pitti Palace, home to several important families: Medici, Habsburg Lorraine, Napoleon and the Italian royal dynasty, the Savoy.
On the noble floor of the building, it includes more than 500 mostly Renaissance paintings by Raphael, Titian, Perugino, Peter Paul Rubens and Pietro da Cortona. Most of the rooms are decorated with antique furniture and objects collected by the Medici. The ceiling frescoes follow the sequence of the deities is based on Ptolomeic cosmology; Venus, Apollo, Mars, Jupiterand Saturn, but minus Mercury and the Moon which should have come before Venus.
You will be immersed in the atmosphere of the historic men and women that lived here!
Note: IN CASE YOU PREFER VISITING THE BOBOLI GARDEN AND THE SILVER WORKS MUSEUM, THE VISIT CAN FOCUS ON THE TWO OTHER SITES.

Tours cannot be performed on mondays (museums closed, only gardens are open)
