Enjoy the cradle of Italian Renaissance in this one day trip!

After a short walk from Santa Maria Novella Train station we reach the famous Accademia Gallery, home to the amazing David, Michelangelo's biggest statue and for sure one of the most famous statues in the world. We stroll around Florence lively and colorful medieval alleys to reach what the Florentines call their "outdoor art gallery" Piazza della Signoria, where Palazzo Vecchio stands , the "Old Palace", since the middle ages the political and administrative heart of the city. We head to the Duomo square, the magnificent Santa Maria del Fiore and its impressive Dome, then we walk on one of Florence's oldest landmarks, the Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge) the only one across the Arno river that Germans didn't destroy during World War II. After a mouthwatering traditional lunch in San Lorenzo Market, a real florentine institution, we reach our last stop, the Uffizi Gallery, hosting the most important collection of Renaissance paintings by artists like Michelangelo, Botticelli and Raphael in the world.
