Through me, you'll have the opportunity to see and experience Florence the way a true local does. Accompanied by my solid academic background, I can lead you as you uncover the otherwise unnoticed, charming details and gorgeous landmarks that Florence has to offer. Having said that, I'm aware that your vacation is not an art history course, and that you are also excited to have fun while plunging into the city's atmosphere!
My tours are always tailor-made, with a difference between general group tours and private ones. In either case, my empathetic nature allows me to immediately "feel" what you expect of me.
With so much more to offer than just a single aspect (unless you require it), you'll find Florence full of art, history, old traditions, food&wine, and fashion.
The majority of my tours revolve around the very city centre, where the most famous attractions (the "must-do's") dwell: the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi… these monuments are really mind-blowing, which is why they're "touristy. " Everyone wants to see them and have them explained. However, alongside me, you will also find yourself off the beaten path, touring the city streets that are home to hidden gems few are aware of. There's always a small ancient church to behold, an artisanal shop to discover, or a tasty local gelato or coffee to savor on your way from Piazza del Duomo to Piazza della Signoria or Santa Croce.
I can give tours wherever you desire, whether in Florence's city centre or its surroundings. As a happy mother to a baby boy who's already experienced my tours, I also love working with children. I particularly like scavenger hunts in museums and in the city.
Have you heard the saying, "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life?" Well, as a social animal for whom only research was no good, I've done just that! Through my many years of experience, I have learned how to give interesting, cultural, enthralling, and entertaining tours.
