A day trip to Umbria
A private tour to Assisi and either Perugia or Cortona. A full immersion in beautiful region of Umbria where spirituality blends with easy living. Driving through the Umbrian hills, and by the lake Trasimeno we'll arrive at Assisi after two hours. We will go to the basilica of San Francis and it's art treasury. If yo want you may assist to the mass at AM 10:30. After we will do a walking tour of 1 hour in the city streets. On the way back to Florence we will stop either at Perugia or Cortona. Lunch in Assisi. Sunset over the valeys and lake Trasimeno, as if painted by Piero della Francesca will end this unforgettable day. For a customized tour, or more travellers, please ask.
Departure from Florence, drive of 2 hrs to Assisi. Max 3 and 1/2 to 4 hrs at Assisi. Either Peruggia 1 and 1/2 hrs or Cortona 3 hours. Return to Florence 1hr and 45 min.

Meeting location: I will meet you at your hotel if it is in or next to the historical center otherwise please follow the instructions mentioned in Required info.
End location: We will end the tour at the place of departure, back to the hotel or any other spot in or around the city center.
