After Dark, City, First Time Visitor, Museums / Culture
Kid Friendly: Yes. A limitation on the 'friendliness' for younger children is the fact the it is a quite long walk ending at around 10:45 pm.
Some sidewalks are quite narrow and the streets of the city centre are mainly paved with quite "uncomfortable" cobblestones.

The dark side of Florence
This is a walking tour during the night, in the fresher air of the hot Florentine summer.
We start after your dinner and stroll around the most famous places of Florence. You will be able to see its monuments, statues and palaces under a completely different light: not only the "luminous" history of the Renaissance but also its "dark side".
* Starting from April the1st until September 30, in case of rain, the walking tour could be replaced by the visit of Palazzo Vecchio Museum (closed on Thursdays)
Piazza della Repubblica, where the old Roman Forum was laid;
Strozzi Palace, the most beautiful example of an Early Renaissance style palace;
via Tornabuoni, the luxury street;
Santa Trìnita Bridge, "the most elegant bridge of the world";
Via Maggio and Pitti Palace on the other side of the Arno river;
Ponte Vecchio, the only bridge that was not destroyed during the World War II;
Uffizi Palace and Piazza della Signoria with its spectacular statues and then Piazza del Duomo with its impressive religious buildings.
