The two "Jewels" in the Crown of Andalucia - Flamenco and Tapas with a Private Guide
When people think of Andalucía, then two things probably spring to mind - Flamenco and Tapas. This tour combines the two and gives an excellent insight into the amazing art of genuine Gypsy Flamenco and the culinary "art" of Tapas.
I simply adore this Flamenco Show - it comes from the heart and having lived here for over 20 years I can promise it is the best I have seen. They are all family members and the spontaneity that comes from this is simply extraordinary. I will of course explain as much as I can about this mesmerising form of dance and music whilst we share some delicious Tapas before the show.
You will be met at your chosen location in central Malaga.
Before the Flamenco Show we will visit two tapas bars where you will sample a selection of 8 tapas accompanied by wine, sherry, beer or a soft drink. This will be carried out on a visit to two different bars.
After being "fed and watered" we will make our way to a very "genuine" Flamenco show where you will see a performance of such passion that I personally find it astounding. Pure Gypsy Flamenco at its best.
The Tour will finish after the flamenco performance and I will return you to your Hotel, our central meeting point or the port area.
Tours are still undertaken in wet weather - we do not get much rain in Andalucia!
Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: I am very happy to meet you anywhere in central Malaga. Specific details can be arranged on booking.
Flamenco and Tapas Tours are only available on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings starting at 7.00pm and finishing about 11.00pm.
Please note that Tours are not available in Semana Santa (Holy Week) or during the Feria in August when there are just too many people in the city centre to move around comfortably.
End location: After the Tour I can return you to your Hotel (if it is in central Malaga), the Port area, a Museum or Art Gallery, or leave you in the main pedestrian street.
Duration: 4 hours
Please Note: I will need to confirm availability with the Flamenco before I can confirm the tour.
Estimated Local Cash Needed
20 Euros - Possibly more. There are NO extra local payments, but many of my clients are tempted to visit a local bar after the show. I will point out some wonderful roof top bars with fabulous views!

Michael did a fantastic job. The 2 tapas places he took us to where quite different and he did a great job of selecting the food and beverage. Everyone loved the way he explained how everything went together and the background of the wine. I've been to a number of "typical tourist flamenco" shows but this one was definitely the best. It was a bit smaller but that just made it more intimate. Overall this was a great tour and if I come back to Malaga I'll use Michael again
