Agia Napa Aqueduct - Sculpture Park - Cape Greko Area - Land Gate - St. Nicholas Cathedral in Famagusta
These places are on the eastern part of the island. Agia Napa and Protaras are known for holiday resorts, beautiful beaches and night life. Many windmills can be seen in this area.
Potatoes are grown at the fertile red soil of the area.
Cape Greko area is known with its unique rocks and different species of orchids in the season.
There are many historical sights dating back from Byzantine, Lusignan, Venetian and Ottoman period in the walled city of Famagusta.
Today we drive towards Agia Napa. The area is known with hotels, holiday resorts and beautiful beaches. We stop to take photos at the sea caves. Than we drive to Cape Greco . This is a long and rocky coast. There are many trails for walking. We pass by the Natural Bridge. If its summer we shall have a free time for an hour to swim in the beautiful sandy beaches. We drive to Protaras and have free time to walk around and buy some souvenirs and drive to the walled city of Famagusta in the North Cyprus. We visit St. Nicholas Cathedral, Sea Gate and Land Gate and have some free time just before we drive back to the hotel.
