A ruins of salamis from Roman Empire & Medieval wall city of Famagusta
We'll start our tour enjoying the scenery as we cross over the Mountains and Mesaria Plain. Then it's on to St. Barnabas Monastery which is now an icon museum.
We'll see the ancient city of Salamis which dates back to BC and has the largest Roman Amphitheatre in Cyprus.
Our adventure continues with a visit to the St, Nicolas Cathedral which is now known as Lala Mustafa Mosque and was built in French Gothic Style. I'll make sure you also get some free time within the old city for shopping or more sightseeing. ghost town of Varosha will be visited during the day as well.
