With my wife, we decided to come back to my city and turn my 100+ years old family house to a small little Hostel. We called it after our family name to not forgot my childhood and the family memories we had in our home.
However, after 4 years of hosting experience, we learned a lot from our guests about their expectations and what their needs are, we improved our skills and services all the time based on our guest's needs. During this time I've done many walking and day tours for our hostel guests which I learned a lot by practicing it, but last summer I've attended the 1st Tourist Guide Training held in Kosovo and got certified for a Tour Guide and just after it I become also the board member of "Kosovo Tour Guides Association - GuideKS".
As a local, I already know all those hidden corners, special places, typical cafés, and specialized stores - and I will be more than happy to share all my local knowledge with you. I will tell you plenty of interesting anecdotes and facts about places we are walking by, what are we tasting or contemplating at.
My goal is to provide my guests with an intimate experience of Kosovo so you can truly understand and appreciate Kosovo's war sufferings which were tough times and unforgettable memories for me, also you will experience Kosovo's rich cocktail of history, culture, and cuisine. My tours are generally conducted in an informal and laid back manner as I learned that the best way to feel the destination is to simply have fun while exploring. On request, I also offer bicycle and hiking tours in mountains or Prizren city.
IMPORTANT: I may still be available even on days marked UNAVAILABLE depending on your preferred timing for the tour. Therefore, it is best to contact me and check my availability directly.
