Over and above visiting the main historical areas and places of interest. I can create customised itineraries to suit particular needs.
Main areas - Old Town & Royal Mile, Princes Street gardens, Part of the original New Town.
Some of the highlights to see from the outside- Edinburgh Castle, Palace of Holyrood House, St Giles Cathedral, Canongate Kirk, Greyfriars Kirk, New Scottish Parliament, Galleries, Sir Walter Scott Monument and many more.

Meeting location: We will meet at an arranged point in the city centre.
I will be wearing either tartan trousers or a kilt.
End location: End location: At an agreed point, or city centre hotel.

Lothian Region Transport main bus- Single adult ticket - £1.50 day ticket £4.60. Airlink Bus - Adult Single £4.50, return £7.50 (correct money on LRT buses) check LRT website for any changes.
2 course Lunch meals start from about £10.95 upwards.
Taxi from city centre to Airport or South Queensferry £20 to £25, city centre to Castle £5 - £7 approx.

Great three hour tour of Edinburgh. Very interesting insights into the city and its history. He was very attentive to one of us who had a stamina issue. Resting pauses were filled with little tidbits of everything around us. Lots of hills to contend with but it goes with the territory in Scotland's capitol.
