Cool East London - Street Art and Street Food in the Fashionable East
As seen in ToursByLocals trailer: the most diverse part of the city where history meets contemporary culture and an internationally-recognised art scene, including world class street art.
*Includes a short chocolate tasting*
East London has brilliant art and on this walk around super-hip Shoreditch we'll see the cream of global street artists.
The streets are rich in history and the alleyways are living galleries - come and see an incredible range of contemporary art and hear some tall stories about the various characters behind this constantly changing world.
There are also lots of interesting boutiques, vintage and fashion stores, quirky pubs and of course centuries of London stories to savour. Come on a weekend for markets or during the week if you prefer a quieter tour.
It's a great place to linger afterwards over a coffee while you people-watch. Suitable for 'cool kids' of all ages!
Kids will enjoy the chocolate tasting, adults can visit a brilliant pub.
We can either stick to the main East London street art hot spots around Shoreditch and Brick Lane, or we can jump on a train trip to go a little off the beaten track to the 'next Shoreditch'?
You can see Shoreditch in depth, or mix up a shorter look with Dalston and the once-unknown Hackney Wick - all street art hotspots.

Met at Liverpool street and toured the areas which are now being revitalized. Saw a lot of good street art and then into a small street art garden area in the midst of what will likely be development soon. Simon was always sharing his knowledge and also talking with people where we went to get info on what is happening this week. He was curious about our lives and was very fun to be with.
