See the relics of Operation Dynamo in Dunkirk
As shown in the movie, Dunkirk was at the center of 'Operation Dynamo', the largest evacuation effort in military history. During our tour we visit the city, while we focus on the places and relics that reminds us of the 'Dunkirk Spirit' that made this operation an unimaginable success.
We walk on the mole (jetty) from where 200. 000 soldiers were evacuated. In the port we'll see a paddle-wheel steamboat, a 'Little Ship' that made the crossing 4 times, rescuing 1673 soldiers. In the center we look at the scars of the bombings the city suffered. And when open, we visit the Dunkirk 1940 Museum.
The scenic drive to Dunkirk takes just over an hour. In Dunkirk we stop in different locations from where we walk to the mole, and through the port and city center. When the Dunkirk 1940 Museum is open, we visit it.
