History, Sightseeing and Gastronomy Tour

With this tour we would like to take you on a journey through the history and legacy of Dubrovnik and neighboring region of Herzegovina. In short distances we want to oppose historical legacy, landscape sights and gastronomy diversities. First stage is related with visit to oldest Arboretum in Europe, from there we will continue for unique panoramic view and further towards to Ston. During your stay in Ston you will have an opportunity to taste the freshly open oysters and also to hear more about the importance of this small town in terms of the economy of Dubrovnik Republic. In early afternoon hours we will drive inland towards Herzegovina. If Dubrovnik is a synonymous for tourism then Herzegovina is its direct opposite. The land of rocks and small pastures in between, characterized by its turbulent history with the consequences that are felt to these days. After cooling off in the interior of the cave Vjetrenice enjoy the tranquility and quietness of Popovo polje with traditional brandies, wine and dishes

In this tour I want to take you to explore the diversities which are so close with distance but yet pretty different.
Diversities in landscapes, history, religion, food, natural attractions and all of it in just one day and with one tour.

A Recent Review of this tour

You cannot find a more wonderful guide than Niksa. He knows his Dubronvik and his back lane journey gives an insight to a different Croatia from the touristy facade. He showed us hidden gems of secluded coves and lavender fields. He is informative, friendly and with a care for us that was warming. We had a lovely day. And the traditional Croatian dinner he arranged at the caves is an experience not to be missed.
