Walk down the limestone-paved Stradun, the widest street in the Old Town and its main promenade, where the guide will point out some of the chief historical landmarks -- from the 14th-century Franciscan monastery and its incredible Gothic courtyard, to the Rector's Palace to the cathedral. In between the sightseeing, pop into a local wine bar for a glass of locally produced vino and learn about the characteristics of Dalmatian wine. Sample three different types of wine, all of which is paired with regional edible delights, such as prosciutto and local cheese.
