I have been a guide for
10 years country wide but have a particular love of showing the rich Jewish heritage of Dublin to you.
As a born and bred Dublin Jew, whose parents lived in the very area fondly named "Little Jerusalem" I am ideally qualified to share with you this colourful and historic cultural landscape. I can organise Community hospitality and Synagogue attendance for my clients as well as accommodation within walking distance of the Synagogue. I am also a volunteer docent in the Irish Jewish Museum
I structure my tours in a very personal way with strictly limited numbers and my clients leave Dublin feeling they have said good bye to a friend. There have been many lovely reviews of my tours published and I would be delighted to share some of these with you.
For those who are not specifically interested in a Jewish Heritage tour I do offer both Dublin and Country wide general tours. Whatever your interest; be it landscape, history, culture, photography, even horses!! I have the very tour for you.
I also have had great success in researching Irish roots of visiting families.
A Recent Review of this guide
Had an excellent time with Peter who tried very hard to convey his Jewish identity and history. Had a wonderful tour of County Wicklow and the Irish countryside. All in all it was a very pleasurable day and we enjoyed our time with Peter
Alumnus of Trinity College Dublin and of the Sorbonne in Paris where I spent 2 years the result of which is my fluency in French.
I have worked in a variety of industries including hospitality-I ran a restaurant for many years. My life-long love of photography led me into a career as a photographer specialising in equestrian sports.
