Perfect for your 2 days in Dublin

Welcome to Dublin!

We'll do two tours of Dublin, each 2-3hrs in duration and separated by a 2-hr break [see "where and when"]. So we'll cover nearly all of Dublin at a leisurely pace with time to spare between tours, perhaps for some shopping, and time after the tour, perhaps for more drinking! [see 'itinerary' for more info]

As your private tour guide, I can adjust the schedule, duration and activities to meet your needs. Please let me know of any special requests you have. It is also possible to use the two tours over two days.

Itinerary

1st tour: We'll explore one half of the city - sights, history, and culture
National Library
Leinster House (Irish Parliament)
Private guided tour of the National Museum (free entry). On Mondays, the National Museum of History and Archaeology is closed.
Stephen's Green is Dubliners' garden - central park
Coffee break - in order to spend less time waiting in line and more time sitting and enjoying your coffee, we might spread ourselves into 2-3 cafés.
Grafton St. And environs - shopping district - tips on Irish gifts (clothing, crafts, CDs)
Trinity College - a serene oasis right slap bang in the middle of Dublin.

2nd tour:
This second tour will cover the rest of the main sites and will be lighter on the history.
Molly Malone Statue
Dublin Castle - the centre of British control in Ireland for seven centuries
Christchurch Cathedral
All that talk of churches has you thirsty, see so it's time for a Pub break (choose between the pub or a. . . nevermind).
Temple Bar
Ha'Penny Bridge
O'Connell St and GPO
