I really enjoy being a guide, starting off with some friends arriving from abroad, when I took them around the city, sharing the incredible history of the city as well as the many venues and recording studios I've played in as a musician, and telling stories about Ireland's music scene and it's characters over the years. Having lived as a musician in Ireland for as long as I have, there's a lot of stories to tell, especially the ones that nobody else knows!
I've travelled all over Ireland and many parts of the world with my own music, and I've had the great honour of playing alongside some of the greatest Irish and international musicians ever to have lived.
My own recordings earned me Platinum album sales and Billboard Magazine praise, and I still work closely with the living breathing Irish music world, presenting a radio show on RTE and an online TV show.
I also have a very special relationship with The Ha'Penny Bridge, as I personally brokered the deal to make Fender Guitars in honour of Gary Moore and Phil Lynott from the bridge itself!
I love giving tours about the living music, and having unique access to some of Dublin's venues and recording studios allows me to share the stories of this amazing city even more!
We had a great day in Dublin with Dermot, he showed us all around the city, and we got to see many parts that are usually off the tourist track. His connections to the music world made for some very entertaining stories, and we got to see the recording studio that U2 made some of their best music in, we couldn't believe that Dermot sold the Ha'Penny Bridge to Fender Guitars! Best fun ever!

We only had one day in Dublin and thanks to Dermot it was the best part of the whole holiday, he took us on a lovely drive in the country to the place where Arthur Guinness was born, such rich history, and such a funny guy, we even pulled our own pint of Guinness in Arthur Guinness's pub, we had no idea how much fun a day like this could be, hoping to come back soon!

What an amazing day we had, thank you so much Dermot! Dublin is such a complex city, full of small streets and laneways, and Dermot literally walked us through the history of this amazing city and it's music and the characters. Myself and my friends are huge music fans so we couldn't believe we were with someone who's played on the same stage as The Chieftains and also The Dubliners, he knows everything about the place and he is very much fun
