3 hours to see the best sights!

Welcome to the great old city of Dublin! Now, this is the tour for seeing Dublin. If you only do one touristy activity in Dublin, make it the Fantastic Walking Tour of Dublin.

We'll hobble along the cobbles of Temple Bar & Trinity College catching the cadences of Irish accents cascading through the streets. Stand by the River Liffey and tilt your nose to inhale the hops wafting from the Guinness Brewery. Marvel at the fascinating Irish (Gaelic) language.

Can you see it with your mind's eye?

In the courtyard of Dublin Castle, our footfalls will echo through the castle's 800-year history. At the GPO on O'Connell Street, the crowds gathered for the Declaration of Irish Independence & the passions of poets and Irish freedom fighters throughout the centuries were born anew.

Can you feel it?

On this 3hr walking tour of the city centre, you'll discover the main sites, become immersed in the history, and experience the life, songs and stories of Ireland's capital city.

Welcome to Dublin!

Depending on what interests you most, we can explore and experience:
Trinity College - past students include Oscar Wilde & Bram Stoker
O'Connell St - The Spire, Daniel O'Connell and James Joyce statues)
The GPO - 1916 Rising, Irish fight for Independence
Dublin Castle - seat of British administration in Ireland for seven centuries
Temple Bar - quarter of the city famous for its pubs and cultural attractions
City Hall - get an insight into Dublin's Golden Age in the 1700s
Old Parliament building - a great example of Dublin's majestic Neo-classical architecture.
Grafton St - this street is nearly synonymous with 'busking', Dublin's main shopping street.
Ha'penny Bridge - one of Dublin's icons
Leinster House - seat of the Irish Parliament

And so many more sites! You might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the smallest pub in the world (well, in Dublin at least!), some of the best buildings along the Quays, or even Molly Malone!

A Recent Review of this tour

Garvan was wonderful! We met him as soon as we arrived in Ireland. You can tell he is passionate about the history of this amazing country. We learned so much from him and he gave us fantastic tips on what to do during the rest of our stay. We can't thank him enough. I can't imagine a better guide. He even told us to contact him any time during the rest of our stay if we wanted any information. Such a wonderful welcome to the city!
