I really enjoy showing my guests the beautiful city of Dresden, its museums and surroundings. For me this means not only to tell you about history, but also about culture, traditions, and the local life here (yesterday and today).
I grew up not far from Dresden and now for more than 25 years I have lived here in Dresden and experienced its many changes - especially those the reunification brought about.
Every day you can see more of the splendour and treasures of this amazing city. And it will be a pleasure for me to show them to you!
What makes Dresden even more fantastic is its breathtaking surrounding. Picturesque old towns like Meissen and impressive rock formations - the Saxon Switzerland - you can also discover with me.
I studied English at the Dresden Technical University and spent one year in Great Britain. I am a licensed guide in Dresden and in most of its museums.
A Recent Review of this guide
Carola was a very knowledgeable guide with a good grasp of the historical significance of many of the sights we visited, including the Museum of Hygiene that was founded in the prior century, the works of the Masters and the unfinished State Rooms in the Royal Palace. Carola's evident love of this city and her understanding of the lasting impact of events and Saxon rulers over the centuries helped bring the city to life for us as we enjoyed learning more about Dresden's inner beauty. She's a great guide.
