Visit the most sacret Wat Prathat Doi Suthep temple up in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. It is recognized as one of the city's greatest assets. The area is covered about 261 square Kilometers (100 Square miles) The park is named after two forested mountains west of the city, Doi Suthep and Doi Pui, which rise majestically from suburban foothills at 360 meters (1, 180 feet) to the highest peak of Doi Pui at 1, 685 metres (5, 527 feet). We will drive through the mix deciduous forest and evergreen. The forest is filled year- round with flowers and a profusion of exotic birds, butterflies and small mammals. Visit the Hmong Tribe who lives in this park for almost half century. Hmong people migrated from China to Thailand. Learn about their way of life. How do they connect with the modern world nowaday. Phuping Palace or The King Winter Palace, was built to accommodate the royal family during state visits to the north of the country. Adventage of the cool climate and beautiful ground fill with colorful flowers.

Itinerary

8:0O AM drive up to 3, 000 feet above sea level to visit Wat Prathat Doi Suthep or Doi Suthep temple, one of the most important temple in Lanna Thai. Learn about how this temple situate on the high spot, beautiful architecture, then will drive through the dense of hill evergreen forest to visit the Hmong tribe village. This village still live primitively, although, they live not far away from town. On the way, opportunity to visit the coffee plantation research station, one of the king's project and Phuping Winter Palace, enjoy the beautiful ground of the garden. (Subjected to be open)

NOTE: There are two Hmong tribe villages in this area; I always take people to the less-commercial one.

End location: Back to your hotel or can be drop off somewhere in Town or anywhere possible.(We can discuss this)

Transportation

Modern, clean and comfortable, air-condition Toyota comuter van 9 seat.From The temple to the Hmong Village, depending on condition of the road and time of the year. We may have to change to pick-up truck instead of the van. However, there is no additional cost. If 2 person will use 4 Wheels drive and I will be guide and driver.
