A medieval city
Treviso is a charming town located on the mainland, not far from Venice.
It is a quiet medieval city, still surrounded by its old walls and crossed by rivers. It belonged to the Venetian Republic in the past, and on its walls you can still see the symbol of Venice, the Winged Lion.
In this tour you will discover the most important sights of this beautiful city. I'll take you to a walking tour, to admire the panorama along the Sile River, I'll show you the old port where in the past boats full of merchandise arrived from Venice, we will then see the Piazza dei Signori, the main square with its medieval buildings and I'll show you the church of St. Francis and the Cathedral dedicated to St. Peter. If you like at the end of the tour we can stop for a prosecco wine tasting or a slice of the local cake: the Tiramisù!
The tour lasts 2 hours.
The tour starts at the railway station where we will meet.
On foot we will reach the city centre, which is still surrounded by its old walls.

Sabrina was an engaging and informative tour guide to Treviso. Her English was excellent, and her stories about the town added color to her tour. These qualities were important due to the slight drizzle we had for most of the tour. We liked her, and that is very important. Five stars for Sabrina are not enough to rate her and her skill as a tour guide. Brava!
