Discover Dordogne: Lascaux, Rouffignac, Les Eyzies, Sarlat, ... 100,000 years of history in the authentic heart of France -
Discover Dordogne! visit famous caves with prehistoric art!
Private sightseeing tour with an American driver-guide (Expatriate - in France since 1992)
From your accommodations in or near Sarlat - embark for a day of prehistory; where we will step back in time to the last Ice Age, when Woolly Mammoths and Rhinos wandered through this region.
We'll start the day visiting Lascaux - the most famous - the "Sistine Chapel of cave paintings".
After Lascaux we'll head to Rouffignac, then Les Eyzies - home of the National Prehistory Museum.
One of the greatest advantages to my tours is flexibility.
I may propose or start the day with an itinerary in mind, or list of places to visit, but from there the day will unfold according to your personal wishes.
My objective is to help you to maximize your time spent here in France - so that you will most comfortably enjoy all the beauty and history - that you return home filled with spectacular memories of a marvelous adventure.

Christian was a pleasure to spend the day with. He is a USA expat and so his English is perfect. We were staying in Toulouse and so were faced with a 2 hour drive to our destination and Christian found some beautiful back roads through lovely small towns and villages. He found a great restaurant in a hillside village with fantastic views. I would not hesitate to recommend Christian. Jim and Mary
