1 day trip to Normandy
With driver AND guide from Paris, immerse yourself in one of the major historical events of our time, the D-Day landing of June 6 1944. On the way, your private guide will give you a lot of information about Normandy, from the history of France to the local traditions and food.
First stop at Arromanches where you will see some remains of the artificial "Mulberry Port". Then stop at Longues-sur-Mer to see the last German batteries inland facing the shore.
Lunch in a typical French restaurant in Port-en-Bessin, charming picturesque harbor.
In the afternoon, you will go to the moving Omaha beach cemetery memorial.
Back to the van, let's drive along Omaha beach to « Pointe du Hoc » cliffs that American rangers' climbed on DDay.
Drive back to Paris. Drop off to your hotel in central Paris.

Drive back to Paris (3 hours drive). Drop off to your hotel in central Paris or dock.
