Explore the old and the new of Japan
Dazaifu(大宰府) and Dazaifu(太宰府). Same pronunciation but different Chinese characters. Can you see the difference? I'd like to explain the difference in this tour.
Dazaifu city is located about 15km south of Fukuoka city. Dazaifu shrine attracts so many people, especially students every year, because it is dedicated to Sugawara Michizane, the God of Study. Komyo-ji temple is a Zen Buddhist temple built in 1273 and has two gardens, moss garden and dry stone garden. Kyushu National Museum focuses on Kyushu area's exchanges with other Asian nations.
The great thing about this tour is that you can see the old aspect of Japanese culture but at the same time along the both sides of the street to these sights are there a variety of souvenir shops selling typically Japanese neat and cute items, so you can fully enjoy shopping!
