Explore the beautiful Danube Bend and visit some historical towns
If you stay a bit longer in Hungary you may have time for an excursion to the country side as well.
I have an option for you.
If you like nature and visiting some historical towns I suggest you to visit the Danube Bend.
There are three beautiful historical towns in an amazing natural environment.
DANUBE BEND TOUR
We visit 3 beautiful historical towns at the Danube bend
-Esztergom (today is a small town but once played an important role in the establishment of the Hungarian state 1000 years ago - we visit the Basilica - the largest roman catholic church of Hungary)
-Visegrád (we go to see the citadel and from there there is the best view over the Danube bend, and have a lunch on the top of another hill with a great view of the citadel )
-Szentendre (we visit this picturesque town which often called as Artists' Village (since a lot of artist moved there, that's why it has a special atmosphere, and a lot of galleries) but also famous for its churches (we can visit one of the Serbian Orthodox one if you want) then we walk up to the panorama point, for a great view and you will understand why Szentendre has a special atmosphere.
I set this for 8 hour long but in case you would take your time and explore more we can easily add an additional hour.

We loved our day with Orsolya! She was very pleasant and flexible. We toured to many little areas outside the city that we would not have seen without her guidance. We had a lovely lunch at a beautiful restaurant with spectacular scenery. She gave us lots of time to wander around the little villages to do some shopping. The entire day was wonderful. I would highly recommend Orsolya as a tour guide.
