Paju demilitarized zone and Heyri or Seoul tour

This tour combines the DMZ and Seoul tour. If you want to travel to several places in one day, this tour is a good choice.

Between South and North Korea, demilitarized zone is located along the Imjin river. The conflict between different ideologies has resulted in a tragedy that continues to the present day. To be honest, the Paju DMZ Tour is too touristy--it has the feel of "Disneyland DMZ. " However, when you drive along the Imjin River , you can feel the real tragedy of the Korean War.

After visiting the DMZ, we will head back to Seoul and do a Seoul tour according to your interests.

* On Mondays, this tour is not available, because the DMZ area is closed.

** No visiting JSA AKA Panmunjeom.

A Recent Review of this tour

Wonderful tour, wonderful guide. The DMZ phase is a bit touristy (Jay does include this description in his preview of the tour) but still brings a sense of history to the separation between north and south. The music from the north is a bit eerie. We focused on the Gyenogbokgung palace as our tour of Seoul. Jay has hidden spots to bring out the visit. Jay himself is friendly, knowledgeable and enjoys bring S Korea to you. Well worth a day tour indeed!
