I have been working as a tour guide of Prague and the Czech Republic since 1998. I also have many years experience with tour-leading and tour managing. I have been working as a private guide since 2001, and since 2005 I have been recommended in several RICK STEVES travel books (Best of Europe, Best of Eastern Europe, Prague & Czech Republic).
I like to meet various people from different countries and cultures. It is so enriching! When guiding, my talks cover important facts, interesting stories, but also legends and rumors which add a special flavor to the explanations. I am interested in history, architecture, art, music and literature. I love traveling and hiking/trekking.
I can arrange not only a walking tour or a country trip but your whole stay according to your specifications. Everything from arriving at the Prague airport/train station to a restaurant recommendation or evening event tickets will be set together to meet your ideas, style and budget.
My goal is to have a visitor who gets most of his stay, enjoys being here and feels more like an insider than a usual tourist. And wants to return one day!
Let me show you this beautiful city and country. . . and thank you for reading!

Fabulous ! Katerina had done a lot of homework before taking us on a day tour to follow Heydrichs assassination and the Nazis reprisals. We started with an excellent visit to The Crypt under St Cyrils Church. We later went to Heydrichs House in the countryside and retraced his final journey to where he was ambushed. There was a tear in all our eyes at Lidice. The statues of the murdered children is incredibly moving. Katerina gave us a wonderful day and brought everything alive.
