A private tour of Ottawa and the National Capital Region
After picking you up, you will be driven through downtown Ottawa, beginning with Rideau Hall, and Sussex Drive. We'll stop for an overview of the Rideau Canal locks. Next through Confederation Square and the War Memorial. A stop for Parliament Hill and the PMO, then continue driving past various government departments including Justice, Bank of Canada, Supreme Court, Library and Archives, the new Holoucast Memorial, and the War Museum. The tour will finish with a drive along scenic Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway, and Island Park and Queen Elizabeth Drives.
We will start from your hotel. depending on its location, we'll begin with a drive on the Eastern or Western Parkway, and then proceed to downtown. There, highlights are Wellington Street and the Parliamentary Precinct, national war memorial, and major government departments. You'll see the War Museum, Holocaust Memorial, and the garden of the provinces. Our route on Sussex drive highlights the National gallery, the Mint, and several embassies. Rideau hall, the PM's house at 24 Sussex, and Rockcliffe Park.
We'll finish up at the Byward Market for our break, photo ops, and souvenir hunting. We can finish here or at your hotel as you prefer.
