As a young child, my parents taught me about Inca heritage and I became very interested in the culture and history of this region. I feel that it was a natural progression that eventually led me to become a tour guide more than 10 years ago.
With experience and a tourism license from the National Government of Peru, I am now a seasoned ambassador of Peruvian culture and history. My motivation for working in the tourism industry is my passion for sharing the cultural wealth and beauty of the Cusco region with the rest of the world. I encourage everyone to experience all that this region has to offer, and I welcome the chance to serve as a representative voice for my Cusco that I love so much.
I am an amateur photographer and I use this skill to take pictures of the beautiful scenery on my tours. I am very keen on bird watching and I love sharing information on the fauna of the Andes during my tours.
But my biggest passion is definitely running! I am a dedicated marathon runner and this helps me to feel connected to the mountains. Running through the ancestral paths (like the Inca Trails) is an incredible experience and helps me to understand how our ancestors used to live, running from one village to another to communicate and exchange goods. If you are interested in hiking or running to "Lost City of the Incas" send me your inquiry and I'll make you a proposal based on your interests.
My work as a Tour guide has enhanced my interactions with people from different countries with different backgrounds. I can bring out the best in people and make a group of strangers act as a team. I love improving and training to be more effective as a tour guide as I truly enjoy my work!
Looking forward to seeing you in Cusco!

I booked a 2D1N private tour and Juan was my tour guide. He's really really good. Before i even arrived in Peru, Juan took the initiative to message me and provide me with the details of the tour and my lodging. Not only that, he picked me up from Cusco airport and bring me around Cusco while waiting for my hotel to be checked in. Really had a warm welcome by him as he introduce me to local people and local foods. During my Machu Picchu trip, Juan took a lot of initiative, guide me all the way
