Picturesque scenic Tour of the English Countryside out of London
Timeless Lacock is the perfect English village and is our entry point into the beautiful Cotswolds, the quintessential English countryside.
Our visit to Lacock Village will be like going back in time with it's twisting streets, attractive buildings (some dating back to the 15th century) and Lacock Abbey which has all the character and atmosphere of medieval England.
This is also a must for movie fans, as film makers constantly camp out in Lacock to capture those dramatic period screenings.
The Cotswolds offer idyllic charm for the perfect day out in England, like the peaceful village of Bibury with its honey coloured 17th century weaver's cottages.
Our day will include other rural villages and market towns such as sleepy Burford in the Windrush Valley which is another charming medieval town that somehow the railways left behind - but we can reach all of these places in my London Black Cab.
Meet and Greet you at your London hotel. Head west out of town out into the English Countryside towards Wiltshire - pausing for a morning coffee (journey 2. 5 hours)
Arriving in Laycock Village we shall take a stroll around the timeless twisted streets passing by St. Cyriac's Church, King John's Hunting Lodge and the Packhorse Bridge. Lacock Abbey is where movie fans can walk in the footsteps of Harry Potter or admire the Cloisters used in the T. V adaptation of Wolf Hall (1. 5 hours)
Lunch can be enjoyed at any of the 4 traditional English pubs (1 hour).
After lunch relax as we drive through medieval market towns in the heart of the Cotswolds including the picturesque Bourton on the Water, Burford and the stunning Village of Bibury with its architecturally conserved weavers cottages (2. 5 hours).
After a full day in rural England we shall glide London-bound to your hotel (2. 5 hours).
