I've also worked (as a civilian) for more than 8 years in an important international NATO base in the south of Sardinia.
I have a Master's degree in foreign languages (English and French) but at the university I've also studied Sardinian language, Sardinian history and traditions. I've also attended many courses of Sardinian Archeology, due to the vast number of prehistoric monuments we have in the island.
Sardinia sometimes is compared to a continent, for its variety of landscapes, cultures, languages and traditions. I would be very happy to present you my island in all its diversities and originality. We Sardinians love our island, we consider it as a very beautiful, special and fascinating island and we are ready to show you around and demonstrate that our love is fully justified.
On request, I can organize excursions with buses of 50 seats, boats, yachts and helicopters. Excursions on the occasion of special events: religious, sporting and local festivals.
Contact me and I will be happy to organize your personal tour and give all the information about events, places to visit and the related costs.
A Recent Review of this guide
Matteo was a fantastic guide showing us around some beautiful areas in Gallura and Costa Smeralda with much history and stories that he could share with us. We had my mother with us who is 82 years and not able to walk far or fast and my 10 year old daughter. He was able to accommodate all of our needs and shared wonderful information with us. I will visit again!
