I've also worked (as a civilian) for more than 8 years in an important international NATO base in the south of Sardinia.
I have a Master's degree in foreign languages (English and French) but at the university I've also studied Sardinian language, Sardinian history and traditions. I've also attended many courses of Sardinian Archeology, due to the vast number of prehistoric monuments we have in the island.
Sardinia sometimes is compared to a continent, for its variety of landscapes, cultures, languages and traditions. I would be very happy to present you my island in all its diversities and originality. We Sardinians love our island, we consider it as a very beautiful, special and fascinating island and we are ready to show you around and demonstrate that our love is fully justified.
On request, I can organize excursions with buses of 50 seats, boats, yachts and helicopters. Excursions on the occasion of special events: religious, sporting and local festivals.
Contact me and I will be happy to organize your personal tour and give all the information about events, places to visit and the related costs.
A Recent Review of this guide
This really was a day to remember. We were met on time and taken on a fascinating tour of the area. Matteo was very personable and gave us plenty of information without overloading us with facts. He found us a great place for a snack lunch- very inexpensive, and packed so much into our tour. There were six in our group and we would all thoroughly recommend him.
