My family have lived in Cornwall for 6 generations and I have even managed to trace some of my ancestors going back 600 years in Cornwall.
After leaving college, having studied on a hotel and catering management course in 1993 I decided to try life in other parts of England, namely Surrey and Hertfordshire. I quickly decided that Cornwall was the place I had to be, with its unique coastline and history, friendly people and relaxed way of life.
I have worked ever since in the tourism industry, entirely in Cornwall and always 'front of house' helping visitors to Cornwall to make the most of their stay in this beautiful county.
Looking back to my early years as a child, I grew up in an area of Padstow frequented by holiday makers and as a result I made many friends from the families on holiday there. I would take them around Padstow and show them all the places only the locals knew about. I didn't realise it at the time but these would be my first private guided tours of Cornwall!
I pride myself on never letting people down and always being honest and trustworthy. I really enjoy meeting new people and getting to know about them and the stories they have to tell. I have met many interesting people in the course of my business in Padstow, I have found that they appreciate my gentle sense of humour and my respect for their sensitivities.
I am consistently kind and friendly and always do my utmost to help my guests really make the most of their time in Cornwall. I find great fulfilment in knowing that, through my help and guidance, my guests see the best that Cornwall has to offer.
I have spent the last 20 years running a bed and breakfast business in Padstow and have met many interesting people from all over the world. I have helped them to make informed choices about the best places to visit in Cornwall and the best times to visit them.
In my spare time my hobbies include genealogy, researching the fascinating history of Padstow and more widely Cornwall. I absolutely love walking along our spectacular cliffs, kayaking and I'm now venturing into photography.
We have now converted the bed and breakfast into apartments and this means that I now have time to take guests on private guided tours of Cornwall. I have recently purchased a nearly new people carrier with a very high specification (leather upholstery, tri-zone air conditioning and enhanced safety features) for the purpose of conducting the tours.
I have also been granted a licence from my local authority to be a private hire driver. I have had 27 years driving experience, especially around Cornwall's winding lanes and country roads. I have a clean licence.
I can't wait to show you around my beautiful home county, Cornwall!

We had a great experience in Cornwall with Neil. He made the most of our short visit to Cornwall. We did everything planned and he added additional sites as well. He selected the best location for Cornish pasty's and Cornish clotted cream. A give Neil a 10+++

I can fit six guests in my car without luggage, but for guests with luggage, five guests or less is an appropriate number. Please discuss if necessary.
