Since then I have guided countless tourists, schoolchildren and others around the city.
You will not find me endlessly pointing at buildings and rambling years and dates (although I do point and ramble a little bit). I like to find the hidden gems in alleys and backyards and the stories hidden behind the facades.
A guided tour should be an experience, a story that resonates with the audience - and Copenhagen is packed with stories like that.
Many of my tours revolve around a theme: a famous Copenhagener like Hans Christian Andersen or Soeren Kierkegaard, or a period like the 1600's when our most famous king, Christian IV erected some of the most impressive buildings of the era, or the decades around 1900 when more than 300. 000 danes fled poverty to seek their fortunes across the Atlantic.
These tours are best done by foot or bicycle. Copenhagen is a small city compared to other capitals.
For a broader introduction to the city choose the "Hafnia" tour or contact me so we can design the tour according to your wishes and interests. Again: bikes or feet are great, but so is the citys public transportation.
For inspiration please check out the suggested tours.
Looking forward to seeing you!
