With a Bachelor in Tourism and an education within the cultural field, I share my knowledge and enthusiasm with the visitor.
For a number of years, I have been booked by different organisations in the US with my presentation about Denmark. Last time in New York, October 2017.
It is my ambition to be the difference between reading details in a guidebook and giving the personal perspective of living in Denmark today. What made the country into what it is, caused by historical events?
You can explore the city of Copenhagen in many different ways:
By walking, you will see more details,
by driving, you will experience more sights.
I offer both, also as a combination.
Copenhagen has become one of the largest Cruise destinations in Northern Europe, and a great way to see the Scandinavian countries as well as the Baltics. Therefore I am offering Shore Excursions, including all of the highlights of our capital. We will pick you up by your ship and end the tour at the airport or visa versa.
On some of my tours we will leave Copenhagen and I will tell you all about either the Vikings, Royal Castles or Jewish life in Denmark.
I have been working as a tour guide since 1996 and am still as passionate about it as ever!
Thank you for visiting - I am looking forward to share Wonderful Copenhagen with you!
A Recent Review of this guide
We'd arranged with Tours by Locals for a guide, Charlotte, to meet us at the port where our cruise ship disembarked, to take us and our luggage on a 2-hour tour of Copenhagen and then deliver us to the airport. It worked perfectly, making our last day one of our best touring experiences. Charlotte and her driver were wonderful - extremely knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating to our interests, warm and helpful. This was our first ToursByLocals experience and we were more than satisfied, truly impressed

Guiding and riding a bike at the same time doesn't work for me....everything in its time :)
