Drive to the Snowdonia National Park to the wonderful medieval town of Conwy located on the mouth of the estuary. A totally walled castle town. Built in 1287 by Edward I Conwy Castle never ceases to impress - the castle is magnificent and its easy to walk the towers and garrison. Then a walk down to the pretty harbour and start walking around the town along the walls - until we reach an impeccably restored medieval merchant's mansion built around 1577. The structure and plasterwork are incredible - its a super house.

This tour can also be expanded to include a visit to our national trust "Bodnant Gardens" - the creation of these outstanding gardens was commenced in the 1850's with some of the tallest sequoias outside the USA. For garden lovers this is a not to be missed outing.
