Memorial KZ Sachsenhausen, 4h tour
The concentration camp Sachsenhausen was Berlin's "capital camp", close to the city, built 1936 as a "model camp". On the grounds there are original barracks left and remainders of former killing sites. There are several expositions to visit. The memorial gives you information on the Nazi camp system as well as life in a camp and Jewish persecution.
