The façades of the villas from the lake of Como and the Swiss beautiful town
"Vaporous beauty" this is how Goethe, who visited the Lake of Como in 1778 described its atmosphere. Holiday spot of noble Milanese families in the 1700s and a destination of the Grand Tour, it was then a preferred place for the followers of the Romantic movement from Foscolo to Shelley. In more recent times its calm and beauty has been appreciated by celebrities and Hollywood stars.
The historical centre from Como nestles in the embrace of the medieval walls with elegant medieval and Renaissance palazzos.
A private car will bring us from Milan to Como where after a walking tour we will cruise using a private boat to discover villages and hamlets located along the two shores of the lake.
Afterwards we will cross the Italian border to visit the enchanting little town of Lugano in the Canton of Ticino, the southernmost canton of Switzerland, to enjoy panoramic views.
NOTE: PASSPORT REQUIRED.
