- a little bit of everything (sightseeing, shopping, culinary)
Sightseeing /beer tasting /coffie klatsch /. . . Let us start at the Cathedral and then go on to the historic city hall and museum district. The focus then lies less on history, but more on lifestyle and "Zeitgeist" (spirit of the time). Along the way you can do some great shopping, smell our different fragrances for which the city is so famous. Let's walk the little side streets - or at least remember them for later. And when you need a "refreshment", the next "Brauhaus", Italian restaurant, Bistro or Café is close by. In fact, it is almost a sacrilege to leave a(ny) German city, without having sampled a piece of cake or bread, a sausage, and a glas of local beer (called "Kölsch") and white wine.
This is the tour for visitors who do not feel like the regular, typical Cologne walking tour. Just feel the "Zeitgeist" a little bit.
Please, check with me before making the reservation. Availability changes quickly and does not always correspond with the online calendar. Thank you.
Difficult to say, totally up to you - I have sat with people holding "coffie klatsch" during terrible weather and done little sightseeing, or we walked in and out of shops and cafés all the time. Both is fine. Remember, "Zeitgeist" unfolds in many ways.
