A wonderful mixture of tradition and modernity where East meets West with a private guide
I will show you around Tokyo that has been the de facto capital of Japan for more than 400 years since 1603 when the Tokugawa Shogunate came into power, with Ieyasu Tokugawa, the first Tokugawa Shogun being given by the Emperor full authority to administer Japan. As such, Tokyo has a great number of historic, religious and cultural attractions for visitors. Selecting the most attractive places of interest from among them, this tour is a fantastic way to discover Tokyo. Of course, items in this itinerary are all optional and it would be my pleasure to take your wishes and needs into consideration for a customized tour. We can even make changes on the day!

Kenji-San is a delightful, fun and informative guide. His organization and knowledge of Tokyo allowed us to see way more than we could have on our own, and he made an 8 hour day go by quickly thanks to his sense of humor and historical knowledge. On our way to a museum he arranged our journey so we that saw a traditional Japanese harvest festival parade. It was an unforgettable experience that wouldn't have happened without Kenji-San. We recommend him highly.
