A wonderful mixture of tradition and modernity where East meets West with a private guide
I will show you around Tokyo that has been the de facto capital of Japan for more than 400 years since 1603 when the Tokugawa Shogunate came into power, with Ieyasu Tokugawa, the first Tokugawa Shogun being given by the Emperor full authority to administer Japan. As such, Tokyo has a great number of historic, religious and cultural attractions for visitors. Selecting the most attractive places of interest from among them, this tour is a fantastic way to discover Tokyo. Of course, items in this itinerary are all optional and it would be my pleasure to take your wishes and needs into consideration for a customized tour. We can even make changes on the day!

Kenji, was the perfect guide for our family. He was able to move the tour date up when our flight plans changed, had a full itinerary planned for us and allowed extra shopping time in the fashion district. He even shared some sake from his hometown as a send off when dropping us off at the train station at the conclusion of our tour. Well organized, patient, knowledgeable and seemed to take a genuine interest in answering all our questions. The perfect tour guide. Thank you, Kenji!
